Energize & Recharge Meditation (5 minutes)

Grounding Green Box Meditation (7.5 minutes)

It’s amazing to see the capacity of our lungs if we warm them up to the idea of expanding first.

Most people experience feeling calm and grounded; however, if you do feel any discomfort, please adjust the exercise accordingly.

Throughout the video, we’ll guide you through one of four phases:
1) Breathe out through your mouth
2) Hold your breath while your lungs are comfortably empty
3) Breathe in through your nose
4) Hold your breath while your lungs are comfortably full

You might notice that this exercise helps clear up nasal congestion. This is because of the pauses in breath allowing for the temporary buildup of CO2 which gets your body to respond by helping you breathe easier.

The amount of time at each phase will gradually increase one second at a time starting at one second and going up to six seconds. Then we start to gradually decrease back to one-second intervals.

We recommend that you maintain a light gaze toward the center of the box while imagining your energy traveling up to the top of your head on the inhale and down to the base of your spine on the exhale. This cycles your energy through all 7 main chakras.

We included bells with different sounds which allows you to close your eyes if you prefer.

TIP: Let the muscles in your diaphragm/belly-area initiate the flow of air in your lungs. They are the muscles that are meant to control most of your breathing; just take a look at newborns and their little bellies move in and out.
